Consistently good food and service. We drive from lafayette to eat here because it's better than the options in lafayette. Keep up the good work.

I will have to try Yamato next time I am in town however my which experience wasn't what I was expecting given the considerable amount it positive reviews.I ordered the 3 roll special to try a variety and must say, was OK. Yellowtail was borderline fresh, not best cut. Eel slimy, poorly prepared and not flavorful and shrimp tempura was also very small and as if fried way before and sat, as breading was soggy.The value is fine while rolls were small it was 10$ for the 3. Next time I am in town I will likely try some special rolls but I am very concerned will not be worth the asking price in terms of portion and freshness.

Restaurant started out strong but is inconsistent. The temperature inside is always slightly uncomfortable. I wish it would stabilize and survive we need more good restaurants in Opelousas.

We love to treat ourselves to sushi and this is our spot for a nice meal of it! Lots to choose from and great service.

I've been trying to get sushi from this place for the last week but they either dont answer the phone or answer and leave the phone off the hook for a second and hangup on me... I DEFINITELY DONT reccomend this place. The customer service sucks and the staff are VERY RUDE... I do however recommend sushi masa in Lafayette. Better prices AND great customer service.

Miserably hot in there, and they wouldn't turn on the air. All they had was the fans on!

Awesome sushi and combination yakisoba noodles! “Henry” was an extremely attentive server and a delightful young man to talk to.

I am hard of hearing and me and my family which are hard of hearing went there to eat. Yes I understand its best to have mask on but there's paper to write phone to text to communicate. After explaining several times and asking them to write they refused. This is unethical and illegal. I will be filing complaints and have them fine for discrimination!!!!

Been there a few times. First time the hood vents over the grill were out so the entire restaurant was filled with smoke. Next couple of times it was pretty good. Tonight we were waiting for 15 minutes before we got our drinks. Not busy at all. Food was very mediocre and nor was it hot. Luke warm at best. Ordered steak and shrimp. Asked for medium rare and got beyond well done. Service started horrible bit finished okay. I would go back again but it's there last chance.

The food was delicious.The setting was nice. There was no wait.The Coke machine was flat but they fixed it.The server was sweet and courteous.

Food is not bad but it used to be better. It's good for when you're craving sushi and you dont want to drive out to lafayette to get something decent.

We love this place. If you don't want to wait you need to get there early. Are you might wait an hour. It is worth the wait. It's very good nice and people are friendly.

It was mt grand daughter birthday that’s where she wanted to eat I was not impress the onion soup was cold so was the shrimp fried rice the curly fries were hard the fried shrimp was fried to long and was hard the egg rolls wrere to crunchy when I asked the waitress about the coldness of the food she told me that’s how it is served. They over charged me for the shrimp plate it was 11.95 they changed me 27.00 dollars I called today the manager was not in I’m not Happy be very careful with this place

Food always taste great, last time I went my food was cold when they brought it to me, may have been just a off night. Other than that food is good.

This is a quaint spot for Hibachi in Opelousas. The food was enjoyable; however, I wish the shrimp was marinated and/or seasoned better. Maybe they can consider prepping them as "butterfly" shrimp for the sake of cooking them and maintaining the flavor of the shrimp.There is one grill station, so opt for that area of the restaurant if you care to see the chefs prepare the food.

I like this restaurant! They offer first-rate dishes, their menu is varied, The chef in that place is very experienced, I like a lot tasting all their food. The dishes are always fresh, the service towards the clients is efficient. I often go to this restaurant and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Went for lunch, had the combination fried rice, it was excellent, and so was the service. I would recommend if your interested in a change of meals.

This is my favorite place to eat. The food is great. If you're feeling adventurous try Japanese Sprite.

We just left Yomato (us and two of our small children) for a very late (right before closing) quick dinner. I wish I’d have gotten the guy’s name, but he was GREAT. He was patient, welcoming, and very pleasant even right before closing. The food was perfect as well. We will definitely be back. Best customer service I’ve experienced in opelousas.

Best raw sushi for miles around. Their steak and lobster combo also leaves you wishing you had a bigger stomach. During the weekday lunches, you can't beat the 3 for $10 sushi rolls!
